Who we are

DayTripBaku arranges private transfers in Azerbaijan: airport pickups, rides within Baku and trips to the regions, each in a car with a professional driver. When you book a ride on this website, you make an agreement with DayTripBaku on these terms. You don't need an account to book.

Your booking

After booking you get a reference such as KV-7Q2XM on screen, and we confirm the ride on WhatsApp. We plan the ride exactly as you entered it, so check the places, date, time, passengers and flight number before you book. Count every passenger, children and babies too: each needs a seat of their own.

Price and payment

The price is per car, not per person, and is fixed when you book. It includes the driver, fuel and road tolls, and doesn't change for traffic, delays or the route the driver takes.

Prices are set in Azerbaijani manat (AZN); other currencies on the site are shown at the day's Central Bank of Azerbaijan rate, for reference. You pay the driver in cash at the end of the ride, in AZN, USD or EUR. We never take card details or payments on the website.

Airport pickups and waiting

For airport pickups, give us your flight number: we follow the flight and the driver adjusts to the real landing time. Your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign. Waiting is free, also when your flight is delayed. If we can't find you and you don't answer your phone, the booking may be treated as a no-show, so please tell us if anything changes.

Child seats and luggage

Child seats are free: write your child's age in the note for the driver so we bring the right one. Each car shows how many passengers and bags it takes. If you travel with more or bulky luggage, say so in the note and we'll suggest a bigger car.

Cancelling or changing a ride

Cancelling is free, and as you pay only at the end of the ride, there is nothing to refund. Please tell us as early as you can by replying to your WhatsApp confirmation with your booking reference, so no driver is sent for nothing. Send changes (time, place, car or passengers) the same way and we'll confirm them. After repeated no-shows we may decline future bookings.

If we have to change something

The car shown is an example of its class ("Toyota Camry or similar"). If that car isn't available, you get one of the same class or better, at the same price. In the rare case we can't do your ride at all, we tell you as soon as possible and help you find another option.

Day trips

A day trip request is not a booking yet. After you send it, we write to you on WhatsApp, plan the route with you and agree a fixed price for the car and driver. Your day trip is booked once you confirm that price on WhatsApp.

We take no payment in advance, so cancelling a day trip is free. Please tell us as early as you can on WhatsApp, so the driver can plan their day. If you change the route a lot during the trip, the price may change, and the driver tells you before it does.

On board

• Everyone wears a seat belt; children travel in a child seat.
• No smoking in the cars.
• Keep the phone number you gave us switched on while you travel.

Liability

Our drivers hold the licences and insurance required in the Republic of Azerbaijan. We aren't responsible for delays caused by weather, traffic, road closures or other events outside our control. For any booking, our liability is limited to the price of that ride.
