Who we are

DayTripBaku runs this website for booking private transfers in Azerbaijan; in this policy "we" means DayTripBaku. To reach us about your data, reply to your WhatsApp booking confirmation.

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, phone (WhatsApp) number, email address, pickup and drop-off places, date and time, number of passengers, the car you chose, your flight number and your note for the driver.
• The language you booked in, so we can reply in it.
• Technical data: your IP address and our server logs, used only to keep the site secure and stop abuse, for example by limiting repeated requests.

There are no accounts or passwords, and we never ask for card details: you pay the driver in cash.

How we use it

To arrange and carry out your ride, to confirm it and contact you about it on WhatsApp or by email, and to keep the site secure. We don't sell your data, send newsletters or use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Our team, and the driver doing your ride, who gets what the trip needs: your name, phone number, pickup details and note. Our team is alerted to new bookings through Telegram, so a short booking summary passes through Telegram's service. We give data to authorities only when the law requires it.

Services the site uses

To show maps, flags and fonts, your browser loads files from OpenFreeMap (map tiles), unpkg (the map library), flagcdn (country flags) and Google Fonts; like any website they see your IP address. To work out the route and distance we send a routing service only the coordinates of the two places, nothing about you.

Cookies

We use no advertising or analytics cookies. The site sets two small cookies it needs: one that protects the booking form against forged requests, and "cur", which remembers the currency you chose for a year.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept as long as we need them to run the service and meet accounting and legal obligations. Server logs are deleted after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted once we no longer need to keep it. Reply to your WhatsApp confirmation with your booking reference and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll publish the new version here with a new date at the top.
